Staff Oncology Nurse - RN

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with case preparation for Part B & part C Medicare Appeal Hearings
  • Provide Clinical testimony that supports the ChemoFx® assay during Medicare Appeal Hearings
  • Assist the Managed Care Financial Services team with Commercial Insurance Appeal Reviews
  • Provide support to the Client Services department to resolve clinical questions from customers, sales teams, and patients
  • Assist the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and Sales with clinical matters, as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education
    • B.S. degree in nursing (required)
    • M.S. in nursing (preferred)

 

  • Experience:    
    • 5-8 years with 3-5 years’ experience in oncology preferred

 

  • Required Skills and Behaviors:         
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Thorough clinical knowledge of oncology therapy and diagnostic tests
    • Work independently under direction but with minimal supervision
    • Make decisions and exercise good judgment
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Work effectively within a team
