ChemoFx is a cell-based laboratory test that grows human tumor-derived cells in culture, treats the cultivated cells with chemotherapy agents, and reports response information. Your doctor will develop a list of FDA-approved agents for testing. Investigational drugs are not tested at present. The results for each drug or drug combination tested are detailed in a report that will be sent to your physician.
