The Opportunity:
The purpose of the Data Analyst is to provide support for continuous improvement projects and serve as the key point of contact for reporting key performance indicators, data analysis, and custom data summaries.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Key performance indicator reporting and analysis
• Data summaries and analysis for requesting departments
• Management of the “Data Pull” process
• Develop Quality Systems group Dashboard
• Provide support for design of experiments, data analysis, and result interpretation related to continuous improvement projects
• Build and improve current data support tools
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education:

• MS/BS in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

• Experience:   
• Third party Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred

• Familiarity with Lean, TPS, and/or Six Sigma methodologies
• Understanding of Six Sigma statistical analysis methods
• Advanced proficiency in the use MS Excel
• Business system experience (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Familiarity with CLIA, ISO, FDA and other regulatory guidelines
• Experience building relational databases
• Experience in statistical validation
• Experience in computer programming and query building (SQL, Java, C++, Visual Basic, COBOL, etc.)
• Statistical analysis packages (Minitab, SAS, etc.)
